Astronatur Dr. Bonnie Dunbar to Speak at ABWA

The American Business Women's Association (ABWA) Fort
Bend chapter is honored to have Astronaut Dr. Bonnie Dunbar, as its keynote speaker at the chapter's Business Associate event. The event will be held Thursday, April 1st beginning at 6:00 pm at the Quail Valley Country Club in Missouri City.

A NASA mission specialist astronaut and veteran of five space flights, Dr. Dunbar has logged more than 50 days in space. She has been awarded numerous medals from NASA, including the Space Flight Medal, the Exception Leadership Medal and the Distinguished Service Medal.

The ABWA Business Associate event will honor chapter members' business associates, including employers, employees, mentors and community leaders. A silent auction will be held to raise education funds for the chapter.

At the March meeting, ABWA Fort Bend announced its Woman of Excellence award, a high achievement award sponsored by the Houston Federation of Professional Women. Dr. Stacy Caruso-Croft was recognized for this award and will be feted at an awards banquet in the fall.
